1969 Looking back from the main bunker line down on LZ Bayonet. The "rocket pocket is behind and you can see why the LZ would not get hit by rockets as they couldn't get the proper angle over this ridge. They would go over us and Hit Chu Lai. Mortars were the weapon used mostly against us and I'm happy not to have dealt with 122MM"s
