Military Police Sites


Military Police of the Vietnam War, Webmaster Jim Stewart served in Vietnam from October of 1966 to October of 1968. He served with the 552nd, 300th, 560th and 527th MP companies, 18th MP Brigade. The site is outstanding and a must to go to for anyone interested in Military Police.

The Military Police Association this is the official site of the Military Police Association. A lot of information and locator service for former and current Military Policemen. Reunion site to post gatherings as well.

212th Military Police Sentry Dog Unit
The 212th company was stationed at Long Binh, and had many outlying detachments. Photos from the years between 65' - 72', were submitted by the dog handlers of the 212th. This site is dedicated to all dog handlers that had the pleasure to vacation in sunny Southeast Asia. Great looking site using the Military Police Colors.

23rd Military Police Company I would be remised not to have my Company's main site listed. Lots of images an interaction with this club group hosted by former 23 MP Paul Stiff and yahoo. It has made for great turnout of MP's
The first of four sites operated by former members of the 23rd MP Company. Thousands of messages posted, some with unit history and many with first hand accounts of duties while on tour in Vietnam as a military policeman. Hundreds of pictures posted at all four sites. AO of the 23rd MP Co. was I Corp. Based from Duc Pho to Danang. Service to the US Army in Vietnam 1967 until 1972.

552nd Military Police Company These photos depict the arrival of the 552nd Military Police Company shortly after they we ashore in Vung Tau, Republic of South Vietnam in the latter days of September, 1966 after a 20 plus day venture on the USS Buckner. Those that served with this unit are some of the best of what makes America great. They were the best of the best.

504th Military Police Battalion 18th MP Brigade Good looking site devoted to A, B, & C companies. Lots of images to look at.

720th Military Police Battalion Reunion Association, Inc. Organizational web site that deals with the distribution of information to current and former members of the 720th Military Police Battalion, U.S. Army.

The current Military Police School located at Fort Leonard Wood MO web site. It even has the MP gift shop if you are interested in getting that something special only an MP would like. They have been very supportive of this site allowing me to use much of their material and a great help in my research.

127th Military Police Company Photo Album Nice looking site dedicated to the 127th Military Police Company 18th MP Brigade. Many photos and also a membership page. A letter page which I found very interesting.

54th Military Police Det. Fort Hunter Liggett California 1979 to 1982 Great looking site dedicated to those that served in the Military Police after Vietnam.

Unofficial South African Corps of Military Police This site is awesome it has two Pages devoted to U.S.Army Military Police as well as Foreign Military Police from around the world one page deals with History of US Army Military Police in Vietnam and actually has the only reference to Military Police helmet liners and the distinction of why the insignia especially the colored stripe were different (the 3rd platoon wore normal helmets except for gate guard.) The other page devoted to the US Army is US Army MP Brigades I would suggest taking your time and exploring this great site that is truly international.

Military Police Memorial Pages Comprehensive website providing an expanded tribute to Military Police men and women...who lost their lives in the line of duty. Meaning that notices, articles, stories, obituaries, personal memoirs, photos and other relevant items of interest about these soldiers. This site is for all MP's, killed in the line of duty or not. Active, retired, two years or twenty...if they ever wore the brassard, they get a memorial page.

709th Military Police Battalion A Very organized site. This web site is dedicated to the Men and Women of the 709th Military Police Battalion of all eras.

560th Military Police Company another great organized site showing the history and particulars of this unit. Lots of images and reunion information.

16th Military Police Brigade (ABN) this will be the new parent unit for the reactivation of the 23rd Military Police Company. Visit their Official site.

Americal Division Veterans Association I can't say enough about this link and all of the people involved in making it the place to start when doing anything of interest involving the Americal Division and its history. Also a page devoted to

11th Light Infantry Brigade This site is inactive due to the webmaster and friend Bill Allen passing on. He was very proud of this site and I hope some Jungle Warrior picks it up. The site Included a Memorial site, Photos pages, KIA list, MOH recipients, Brigade History, and Guest book/locator. It was dedicated to the "Jungle Warriors" who served with the Americal Division. I leave this up in memory of Bill a great Americal troop.

196th Light Infantry Brigade Association Includes Association information, KIA list, Brigade History, and Guest book. One of the three Brigades to make up the Americal Division and the last Army Brigade to leave Vietnam.

198th Light Infantry Brigade "198th Bayonet Bunch" At long last a group site for the 198th light Infantry Brigade "bayonet fighters" don't miss signing up it is easy and painless.

26th Combat Engineers Battalion web site home of the association has guest book, photos as well contact information. B Company was attached to the 198th and worked out of LZ Bayonet.

1st Squadron 1st Cavalry Association Americal Armor support for the 196th LIB a great supporter of the Americal Division Veterans Association and this site.

1st Battalion 6th Infantry A Co. Great site about this company which was part of the 198th LIB. Lots of great photos and yes even some MP bashing.

An American Red Cross Donut Dollie with the 9th Infantry Division and Mobile Riverine Force in Vietnam This is a site put up by my friend Emily. A very powerful site that I highly recommend. Lots of great stories and pictures viewed though the eyes of a Red Cross volunteer. I would suggest that you take your time in viewing this site to absorb and enjoy its one of a kind approach to documenting the Vietnam War from her personal perspective.

What a Long Strange Trip . . .27th Surg, Chu Lai Great site with numerous links. Showing the war through the eyes of nurses. The 27th Surgical Hospital was located at Chu Lai and supported the Americal AO (area of Operation).
